The Red Cross says September 13th flooding affected more than one thousand Fairfield County homes. More than 75 volunteers have helped assess damage, deliver meals and distribute cleanup supplies. Residents who need help can call 1-800-RED-CROSS. The organization is seeking more disaster volunteers and will hold a training session October third. No experience is required. Registration is available through the Red Cross.
