Federal authorities are searching for former Connecticut school construction official Kosta Diamantis after he missed his sentencing hearing and fled to Greece. A jury convicted him last year of bribery, extortion, conspiracy and lying to investigators. The U.S. Marshals Service says it has a warrant and is working with the FBI to locate him. Diamantis holds Greek citizenship and has said he wants to return to the United States.
