A 32 year old woman from Danbury has died after a crash in Ridgefield. Police say she lost control of an SUV Sunday evening along Danbury Road near the Danbury line, crashing into a vacant building. The victim was rushed to a hospital with serious injuries but later died. The impact caused structural damage to the building, and Route 7 was shut down for several hours while investigators worked the scene.
Ridgefield Police say the crash remains under investigation and are asking anyone with information to come forward.
